Hamed is responsible for distribution and relationship management in the Middle East.
Prior to Atlantic-Pacific, Hamed worked at Fidelity Investment and Citibank in brokerage and private banking positions. Previously, spent 15 years at BNY Mellon in New York and Dubai, where he was responsible for the Middle East, covering major sovereign wealth funds and institutional clients. During the first 8 years at BNY Mellon’s Pershing division, Hamed was responsible for the MENA region including Cyprus and Greece. He was successful in building the largest correspondent brokerage relationship that included all the major commercial banks in the region. For the 7 remaining years Hamed had country management responsibility for Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain. During that time, asset management investments and distribution relationships witnessed a significant increase in revenue and number of relationships. Hamed was also instrumental in providing the frame work for Depositary Receipts to the capital markets in Saudi Arabia.
Hamed earned a BA from the University of Tampa and a MIM from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Hamed also holds an Executive Education Security Industry Institute certificate from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
